Automatically Detecting AR Enabled Devices through Serial Number

Automatically Detecting AR Enabled Devices through Serial Number

igaligal Member Posts: 2
hello,

We want to update our application to automatically detect if the wearables are AR compatible. However I do not believe serial numbers are available through the SDK.

From

            public DeviceUID uid;
            public DeviceName name;
            public int rssi;
            public ProductId productId;
            public VariantId variantId;

productId and VariantId are undefined and uid is not serial.

any advice here would be helpful.

thank you.

    Anybody? Has anyone made a solution if connected QC's are AR Enabled or Not?
    Or are we trusting users to do their research?

    Hi Igal! First of all thank you for joining the forum and asking this question.

    I need a little more information so we can better assist you:

    Which version of the SDK are you using?
    Are you using Unity or iOS / Android native ?

    In the case of Native there are two errors that are documented on the connection failing that will tell you if the QC35s are AR capable or not, and they are here:

    Hope this information is helpful, let me know how it goes !
